Coach Cymru: The community that supports Welsh grassroots coaches
Coach Cymru is the online coaches’ community that inspires, supports and develops grassroots football in Wales.
The platform, which launched in 2020, offers online session plans, a discussion forum, podcasts and other tools to help our grassroots coaches to be the best they can be for their players.
It’s designed for our busy grassroots coaches to learn from our expert coach educators, coaches working in the elite game and each other.
Coach Cymru offers 24-hour support to those who need it, in every corner of Wales and gives coaches in every community the opportunity to network with their peers across Wales and learn from some of the best coaches in the business.
The technology is desktop and mobile friendly allows coaches to select their favourite sessions to use again and gives coaches the knowledge to conduct their sessions in-line with the Welsh Way, set-out in the FAW National Syllabus.
Coach Cymru yw cymuned yr hyfforddwyr ar-lein sy'n ysbrydoli, cefnogi a datblygu pêl-droed ar lawr gwlad yng Nghymru.
Mae'r platfform, a lansiwyd yn 2020, yn cynnig cynlluniau sesiwn ar-lein, fforwm trafod, podlediadau ac adnoddau eraill i helpu ein hyfforddwyr ar lawr gwlad i fod y gorau y gallant fod i'w chwaraewyr.
Mae wedi'i gynllunio ar gyfer ein hyfforddwyr prysur ar lawr gwlad i ddysgu gan ein haddysgwyr hyfforddwyr arbenigol, hyfforddwyr sy'n gweithio yn y gêm elitaidd a'i gilydd.
Mae Coach Cymru yn cynnig cymorth 24 awr i'r rhai sydd ei angen, ym mhob cwr o Gymru, ac mae’n rhoi cyfle i hyfforddwyr ym mhob cymuned rwydweithio â'u cydweithwyr ledled Cymru a dysgu gan rai o hyfforddwyr gorau'r byd pêl-droed.
Mae'r dechnoleg yn addas ar gyfer cyfrifiaduron a dyfeisiau symudol ac mae’n caniatáu i hyfforddwyr ddewis eu hoff sesiynau i'w defnyddio eto. Mae hefyd yn rhoi'r wybodaeth i hyfforddwyr gynnal eu sesiynau yn unol â'r Ffordd Gymreig, a nodir ym Maes Llafur Cenedlaethol Cymdeithas Bêl-droed Cymru.
FAW Trust Technical Director Dr David Adams said: “It’s a fantastic, innovative platform that we’re passionate about.
“Across Wales we have some great grassroots coaches but they’re not necessarily connected and Coach Cymru offers us the opportunity to speak to them directly and provide opportunities for them to develop and learn.
“This technology allows us to do this more frequently than ever, in a very modern way .
Our grassroots coaches are the lifeblood of Welsh football and Coach Cymru will enable them to learn, engage with others and share best practice.”

Ein hyfforddwyr ni ar lawr gwlad yw asgwrn cefn pêl-droed Cymru a bydd Coach Cymru yn eu galluogi i ddysgu, ymgysylltu ag eraill a rhannu arfer gorau.”
