We’re delighted to launch Clwb Cymru, the exciting new digital platform designed to support our tireless volunteers and inspire clubs to thrive and grow.
The easy-to-use platform is packed with relevant, realistic and relatable information to develop our clubs and improve the lives of our hard-working committee members, club secretaries, volunteer coordinators, team managers, coaches and parent helpers within them.
Clwb Cymru is the new go-to place for the grassroots heroes of Welsh football to turn when they need support, advice or ideas and using it regularly will enable our clubs to develop, play a greater role in their communities and become sustainable.
FAW Trust Head of Football Development Aled Lewis said: “Volunteers are the heart of our game, they are the ones who make football happen. From being that first person to positively welcome new members into the club, committee members who help the day to day running of the club, coaches, officials, people running social media accounts, to event organisers. Football would not be possible without them. However, we are aware that there is more and more pressure on volunteers and people’s time, so we have developed Clwb Cymru to better support existing volunteers and help clubs and leagues to recruit and support new volunteers to help grow the game further.”
UEFA Grassroots Week provides the perfect time to launch this exciting new platform that we hope will positively improve the lives of our precious football volunteers, in every corner of Wales.
Please share it with everybody at your club and feel free to give us feedback at any time.
