I feel relaxed playing football. That's where I've made most of my friends

Playing for Wales is the dream for many young footballers, across the country.

But for 15-year-old Kieran Ralls, that dream has become a reality.

The Swansea City Bravehearts striker was selected to represent the Wales Learning Disability Squad at the 2018 Home Nations Championships in Belfast.

The talented teenager, who’s also played cricket for his country, said: “To wear the Wales badge is an honour.

“I feel relaxed when I play football. Most of the friends I’ve made are through football.

“I don’t usually make friends at school.”

The ambitious young Manchester United fan, who came through Clwb Peldroed Teigrod Teilo Football Club, in Llandeillo, is keen to focus on his ability, rather than his learning disability.

He said: “I hope to play professional or semi-professional football one day.

“I love scoring goals but the most important thing is helping the team.”
