Exclusive Partnership: FAW Trust & University of South Wales

The University of South Wales (USW) exclusive partnership with the FAW Trust is an exciting and innovative collaboration that provides an opportunity for USW BSc Football Coaching and Performance students to develop their coaching ability and knowledge whilst studying for their academic degree.

The partnership ensures that the students studying on the BSc Football Coaching and Performance degree are able to graduate with the appropriate qualifications and vocational skills to gain employment within the football industry.

Students will have the opportunity to acquire their FAW C Certificate and UEFA B Licence and these are embedded within the degree course.

Alongside this, students are able to support the many FAW Trust coaching initiatives and this includes grass roots coaching development and support performance squads in coaching, performance analysis, strength and conditioning and football development.

This is supported through dedicated Work Based Learning that is built into the students degree and supported by the FAW Trust.

Furthermore, many of the students attend the annual National FAW Trust coaching conference and are also provided with an opportunity to attend guest lectures throughout the year delivered by FAW Trust regional and National coaches.
