Corporate Events

To help raise money to develop grassroots football in Wales, we run a series corporate events, in partnership with sponsors, stakeholders and Welsh businesses, throughout the year.
Our growing list of annual events includes the FAW CEO Kickabout, the FAW Charity Golf Day and the Inspiring and Empowering Women seminar.

Here's a flavour of what they involve...

FAW CEO Kickabout

The CEO Kickabout is a unique charity football event, aimed at CEOs and company directors from across Wales.

Developed in partnership by the FAW Trust and Acorn Recruitment Executive Search Division, the event brings business leaders together for a day of football, tactical insight and networking at Dragon Park.

All proceeds are donated to the FAW Trust to support their community development work.

FAW Charity Golf Day

Some of the biggest names in Welsh football took part in the inaugural FAW Charity Golf Day at Newport's Celtic Manor Resort.

Chris Coleman and Ian Rush captained the two teams, who were packed full of Welsh football stars and sponsors and they all came together to raise money for grassroots football in Wales.

Wales internationals like Craig Bellamy, Kevin Ratcliffe, Ian Walsh and Robert Earnshaw took to the course alongside some of our partners and supporters.

Leadership, Teamwork and Empowerment Seminar

The first ever Leadership, Teamwork and Empowerment Seminar was held at the Cardiff City Stadium on the night the Women's Champions League final was held in the capital city.

Future Generations Commissioner Sophie Howe, adventurer, TV presenter and journalist Lowri Morgan, adventurer, author and speaker Elin Haf Davies and GE Aviation Wales Managing Director La-Chun Lindsay all addressed a group of women assembled from businesses across Wales before watching the final between Lyon and Paris St Germain.

Ian Rush and Osian Roberts entertained an audience of Welsh fans gathered to celebrate Wales Week in London 2017.

The FAW Trust's Elite Performance Director and Technical Director spoke to those gathered at at Chelsea's glitzy Pestana Hotel about everything from Euro 2016 to the Champions League to the future of Welsh football.

All money raised went into grassroots football in Wales.

Around St David's Day every year, people gather in London to celebrate Welsh culture and we love being part of it.
