CONSTITUTION & AFFILIATION STANDARD BRONZE SILVER GOLD SUPPORT

Appropriate amount of individuals to cover Chair Person, Secretary, Treasurer and Club Accreditation Officer (no more than 2 roles per person)

CLUB GOOD PRACTICE GUIDE

In addition to club accreditation criteria, clubs should adhere to the following criteria...

Constitution & Affiliation

The club secretary or appointed representative to attend meetings as designated by the respective local junior league. 

Place the safety, welfare and enjoyment of players at the centre of the club philosophy and constitution.

 

Equipment and Facilities

Ensure players in year 6 or under use size 3/4 footballs with a minimum of 1 ball for every two players.

Ensure players in year 7 and over use size 4/5 footballs with a minimum of 1 ball for every two players.

Ensure each team/16 players having the following equipment as a minimum requirement:

8 balls, 20 marker cones, 2 x Sets of coloured training bibs, 1 x ball net, 1 stirrup pump, 1 first aid kit.

Use appropriate and safe facilities for games and coaching sessions.

 

Player Recruitment and Development

Adopt an equal playing opportunities policy for all registered players, regardless of gender or ability.

 

Volunteer Recruitment

Encourage parents to take an active role within the club 

Include volunteer recruitment policy

 

Identification and support of Talented Players

Encourage and refer male and female players with potential to attend the local Performance Centre or Academy.
