Welcoming the Community

Opening your club ‘doors’ to the wider community is a great way to raise awareness of who you are and what you do.

There may be local people, businesses or organisations who are not aware of the club or the impact you have, so it’s important to let them know that you are more than just a club. Welcoming the community into your club may open new and different avenues to support the club grow and more importantly have an everlasting presence within the community.

Running a community or recruitment day is a great way of showcasing everything your club does, during one event. Inviting local people, businesses or organisations to an event such as those can be a great way to begin to start those conversations and work on developing a positive relationship moving forwards.
