Championing the very best of Welsh sport

Championing the very best of Welsh sport

After a hectic summer of sport, with more to follow, our thoughts are now turning to championing the very best of Welsh sport.

After the success of 2013, Sport Wales is once again teaming up with BBC Cymru Wales to hold the Wales Sport Awards. The awards aims are to ensure growth year on year, with this year's being held at Sport Wales National Centre on Monday December 8th 2014.

Firstly though, we need to find the stars of the show....

Sport Wales will be opening the nomination process on Tuesday 2nd September via the Wales Sport Awards website – – to facilitate all entries.

The nomination period will be shorter this year – closing on Friday 26th September. Therefore, we need your support again to encourage those who play a key part in Wales' sporting landscape to nominate.
