Sherwood stops off at Dragon Park

UEFA A Licence students reported back to Dragon Park on the weekend for their fourth residential of the 2013/ 2014 course.

The emphasis of the two days revolved around the importance of Set Plays and Match Analysis.

Wales now boast two sides in the Premier League, which gives our coaches the chance to take in reality based learning, while undertaking their coaching courses within Wales.

Sunday saw Swansea City play host to Tim Sherwood's Tottenham Hotspur at the Liberty Stadium. Candidates were fortunate to watch the game live, observing the Delivery, Organisation, Variety, Efficiency and Surprise of the Set Pieces.

After the game candidates made their way back to Dragon Park followed closely by Tim Sherwood and his backroom staff Les Ferdinand and Chris Ramsey. Technical Director, Osian Roberts said " I cannot speak highly enough of Tim and Les' commitment to the Coach Education pathway in Wales, to give up their time so soon after an important fixture. To come and give a great insight to our candidates speaks for itself"

Students were given the opportunity to question the Hotspur staff following the game before presenting their feedback within their groups to their course peers, Technical Director and his Technical team.

We look forward to welcoming our professional and enthusiastic students back in March.
