It is with sadness that the Football Association of Wales and Welsh Football Trust reports the passing of Council Member, Terence Victor Harris at the age of 77.
Terry Harris was elected onto the FAW Council in 1988 and is a former President and Secretary of the Gwent County Football Association, who have opened an online book of condolences on their website (www.gwentfa.co.uk) for people to leave their respects.
Terry has devoted 28 years of service to the FAW and is a previous Chairman of the International Committee, a role that oversaw the Wales national squads.
In 2008, Terry was the Head of Delegation as the Gwent County FA became the first Area Association to represent Wales at the UEFA Regions Cup, which was hosted in Israel.
The thoughts of everyone connected to the FAW/WFT are with Terry’s family and friends at this sad time.
