Could your daughter be the next Jess Fishlock or Natasha Harding?



Coaches of female teams, teachers and parents across Wales are being urged to sign their girls up for the 2016 age group trials.

Welsh girls aged between 11 and 17 are eligible to try-out to join our national setup at Dragon Park, The National Football Development Centre, in Newport, on Friday, October 28.

Here’s everything you need to know and how to get an application form…

What: Wales women’s and girls’ age group trials

When: Friday, October 28, 2016

Where: Dragon Park

Who: For players born in or between 1999 and 2005.

How: Email Ciara Grant at [email protected] by Friday, October 14, to get an application form




Who qualifies to play for Wales?



Any female can potentially play for Wales if she meets one of the following criteria:


1) Born in Wales

2) Has a parent born in Wales

3) Has a grandparent born in Wales

4) Has undergone compulsory education in Wales for a minimum of five years
