Our 3-hour interactive FAW Safeguarding workshop, which promotes good practice when working with children and vulnerable adults in football, can now be completed completely online.
We know we have a number of coaches at various stages of their FAW coaching pathway who wish to access this course, in addition to the vast number of volunteers working within the grassroots game in Wales.
In being able to now deliver the Award in this format we hope we can extend our support further to all those who are so vital to the growth and development of the game here in Wales.
- Candidate bookings will remain as normal via our FAW Courses platform.
- The Online version of the Award will be delivered via the Zoom Platform with a unique joining code emailed out to all registered candidates on the morning of the Award they are due to attend.
- The Award will still be completed across 3 hours and in 1 sitting; the Tutor will facilitate short breaks for candidates as they would do in the classroom.
- ALL course materials, candidate tasks and post course resources will remain the same with no content or value in completing the course in this format being lost.
