Bangor City FC In The Community, the community partnership between Bangor City FC and Vi-Ability, ran its 1st ever Post-Christmas 2 Day Soccer Camp on Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th December at The Bangor University Stadium, Nantporth, Bangor.
Whilst the high winds put a stop to Day 2 before a ball had even been kicked, day 1 of the camp was another huge success with great numbers of children in attendance and playing football just 4 days after Christmas. This camp saw another 32 players attending the day, which meant that during the holidays over 70 young, aspiring footballers came to Bangor City to celebrate Christmas with some football.
Overall the camp provided a fantastic way for the children to spend their Christmas holidays, in a fun, relaxed and professional environment, giving them the opportunity to develop their footballing skills, make new friends and most importantly have fun. Delivered by our fully accredited community coaching staff these camps provide an excellent occasion for children to enhance their skills and abilities, have fun and engage within constructive activity during their school break.
Bangor City FC Community Officer Ethan Ray said “It was great to be able to provide more footballing opportunities for keen players after Christmas here at the Bangor University Stadium, its fantastic to have so many enthusiastic young footballers wanting to play all the time, and great to be able to engage them here at the club, seeing their smiling faces!!! Cant wait for February Half-Term for our next Camp”
