Newtown Manager to present at National Conference

FAW National Coaches Conference 2014

Chris Hughes is currently the manager at Welsh Premier League Club Newtown. He has a wealth of experience within the domestic league, having previously spent four seasons at Prestatyn Town as assistant to Neil Gibson, and also had spells with Buckley, Rhyl and Caersws.



He works as Sport Development Officer for Wrexham Borough Council, is the holder of a UEFA A licence, and currently a student on the FA Wales/ UEFA Pro Licence course.


Chris also plays a part within the FAW Coach Education programme delivering on the FAW C Certificate and UEFA B Licence courses.


We are really pleased to welcome Chris to deliver at this year's event.


This year's National Conference will take place on 23, 24 & 25 May 2014 at the St Pierre Marriott Hotel & Country Club, with practical sessions taking place at our National Football Development Centre, Dragon Park. For an application form and further details please see the Revalidation page.
