The New Saints Community Foundation is looking to expand their team with a number of talented and experienced coaches. The role requires some flexibility and involves delivery of sessions in and around the area of Oswestry, including but not limited to: Weston Rhyn, Chirk, Gobowen, St.Martins, Rural, Oswestry.
The role is on an ad hoc basis, coaches will be contacted as and when needed. There will be opportunity to be added to our permanent coaching timetable. Hours will be based on and around a school day, with some weekend work required to assist with events to promote the Foundation and Club.
The hours for which we are looking for session cover will typically be between 12.30pm and 7.30pm Monday to Friday, to include session set up. Weekend hours between 10am and 4pm may also be required, to fit in with our attendance at events. There may also be some cover required during a school day to assist with diversionary activities with schools. There will also be some cover required to deliver our football birthday party experience.

Typical Roles and Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver safe effective multi - sport activities to boys and girls age 4 - 19 years of age
• Transport of equipment to and from sessions within the community and schools
• Take lead/or assist with the delivery of the sessions
• Provide administration duties i.e. registers and the collection of monies to be paid into the till at the end of sessions
• Safely handover children to parents at the end of each session
• Sign and out of all community venues
• Administer first aid treatment where required
• Deliver/assist in the delivery of healthy eating and active lifestyle type workshops
• Plan and Lead football birthday party experiences at The New Saints Football Club (1 hour)
• Evaluate sessions and feedback to the community foundation team
Safe guarding and Child protection qualified
Multi-Sport Coach Qualifications Level 2
Experience of working and coaching children from 4 - 19 years of age
First Aid Trained
Plan and Deliver quality multi-sport sessions
Good planning and organization
Analyzing and evaluating
Friendly and approachable
Committed and reliable
Experience of coaching a variety of young performers with varying needs

If you are successful at application, you will be invited to interview; you should bring all evidence of qualifications with you. If successful at interview, coaches will be asked assist sessions with one of our coaches and you may also be asked to take lead on this session to demonstrate your experience and skills. This will be reviewed after a 3 month period.
