The 2015 Welsh Community Football Awards, presented by McDonald’s are now open for nominations. The awards, now in their eighth year, recognise grassroots football clubs and the volunteers that dedicate their free time to ensure young players can take part in football across the country.

Recognising people at both a regional and national level, the awards are open to volunteers of all experience whatever their role at the club is - whether they paint the lines, inspire the Under 15s to victory, or ensure there is a fixture on every week of the season.

Welsh football legend and new McDonald’s Head of Welsh Football, Ryan Giggs, wants people to nominate someone they think makes a difference to grassroots football in their community. The Assistant Manager of Manchester United said: “The Welsh Community Football Awards, presented by McDonald’s is a fantastic way to recognise the thousands of volunteers who are the heartbeat of grassroots football in Wales.
