How Wales’ win has created excitement in classrooms across Wales

Children everywhere want to learn about football

Our Euro 2016 education pack is helping young fans enjoy Wales’ remarkable run – even when they’re in school.
Even before Friday night’s stunning 3-1 win against Belgium, schools across the land were embracing our Key Stage 2 curriculum resource as interest in the tournament soared.
It was downloaded 7,000 times in two weeks – before Friday night’s stunning win in Lille.
FAW Trust CEO Neil Ward said: “We were really keen to use football and the Euros in engaging pupils across literacy, numeracy and digital competency through fun, exciting challenges.
“And of course, we hope that it inspires our nation’s 7-11 year olds to play the game as we strive to build a better future for football in Wales and to grow the game.”

Here are just some of the amazing pieces of work we’ve been sent on social media
