He's got a great story to tell his mates
Bala Town boss Colin Caton was the talk of Welsh football last week as his team defeated The New Saints to win the Welsh Cup for the first time.
In his 14th year at Maes Tegid, the Bala boss was delighted to win the famous old trophy in Bangor last week and now the UEFA Pro Licence student is looking forward to telling his mates all about it.
Among his classmates are Arsenal legends Thierry Henry and Freddie Ljungberg as well as former Manchester City defender Andy Morrison, who is the current boss at fellow Welsh Premier League outfit Connah’s Quay Nomads.
They are all set to attend the 2017 National Coaches Conference, being held in Newport over the weekend of May 26-28.
Former Colwyn Bay defender Caton said: "The quality and standard of people delivering is very high.
"Thierry Henry, Freddie Ljungberg, Mikel Arteta and the other Welsh Premier lads.
"Speaking with them and being in and around them is great.
"They're willing to rub shoulders with everyone.
"Those conversations and presentations are where you learn the most.
"It's a great occasion for everybody."
