It looks in superb shape but there's plenty of growing to go
While the world was glued to Euro 2016 our summer pitch renovation at Dragon Park has developed apace in the last month.
After being dug up and reseeded in June, the new flatter surface is starting to look green and lush.
The team at South Wales Sport Ltd have worked exceptionally hard to ensure the pitch is top standard for the Wales age groups to play on next season.

Nearly two weeks after the grass seeds were first planted, you can see some of them starting to sprout, resulting in a few green patches in the brown soil.

Two days after Wales' heroic Euro 2016 semi final exit at the hands of Portugal, our pitch shows no sign of slowing up its growth. With a good mix of sun and rain over Dragon Park, and a course of treatment, it starts to look playable.
