On Wednesday May 14th, Wrexham Football Club was home to over 50 local schoolchildren participating in a 'Football For All' Disability event and supporting all children who have a variety of impairments to enjoy the beautiful game.

With the event delivered by local Wrexham F.C., the Racecourse Community Foundation staff created a warm introduction for many children to the game, and allowed children to experience the opportunity of playing on the Glyndwr University Racecourse ground which created a wonderful environment for all those involved on the day.

Racecourse Community Foundation Business Manager Lee Jones said, "The event today held at Glyndwr Racecourse Stadium with 60 schoolchildren from St.Christopher's has been truly fantastic. It was great to see so many happy children today at the Racecourse showcasing their skills. This is part of a two year disability project supported by the Welsh Football Trust, Sport Wales and the Racecourse Community Foundation and we hope to be able to continue running these festivals in the future giving more children the opportunity to participate."
