Euro 2016 buzz continues as kids enjoy Beatball at Cardiff Bay Beach

Wherever you are in Wales, everybody wants to play football

Children from all over South Wales flocked to Cardiff Bay beach on a sunny Sunday afternoon and Beatball was the main attraction.

The exciting new concept that mixes football dance was showcased at the popular summer attraction and children were queuing up to get involved.

Capital FM breakfast DJ Polly James was joined by the stars from Cardiff Met Ladies, who took time out from their Champions League preparations for the two-hour session, taught some new skills to the girls and boys in attendance.

Polly, who will tell you all about her experiences on tomorrow morning’s show, said: “It was fantastic. We had so many girls take part and learn new skills.

“We all got moving on the sand and learned some new tricks.

“I can’t wait to do it all again next week.”

Join us at Roald Dahl Plas next Sunday from 2pm to 4pm but don't take our word for it, let Polly convince you!
