The FAW Club Accreditation Scheme aims to provide quality assured playing structures to ensure young players experience a safe and enjoyable environment when taking part in football. Four “Accreditation” awards are involved, Standard, Bronze, Silver and Gold.

The attached picture shows Bridgend & District League Secretary Mr Jon Larsen receiving the FAW Club Accreditation certificate packs on behalf of all accredited clubs from SWFA Club Development Officer Andy Pask.

The Bridgend & District League now has more than 80% of their Junior clubs accredited with a total of 13 clubs achieving at least the minimum STANDARD Award level for season 2013/14. Club Development Officer Andy Pask said “The Bridgend Junior Football League has done extremely well this season. FAW Club Accreditation has been a priority for the League and the vast majority of local clubs have bought into the idea of engaging with the process as a means to raising the standards of football locally”.
