Background and Context

Aaron approached the Welsh Football Trust early in 2012 as part of the Student Placement Scheme which operated out of the University of South Wales, Treforest, RCT. Ongoing Personal Development

Aaron quickly adapted to the challenges presented to him and became a leader for the FAW Club Accreditation Process for the Bridgend League. He then took on a more detailed role in Coach Education administration covering the South Wales FA (South) region and helping to co-ordinate Level 1 courses such as Football Leaders Award, Emergency First Aid & Child Welfare. For the 2013/14 season, Aaron is leading the Under 7’s Mini Football Programme across Cardiff and every Saturday supports a total of 15 clubs, 32 teams and 200+ players within a “fun football festival” format at a central location.
