A new football craze is being created
Beatball on the Beach is back and Capital FM DJ Polly James can’t wait to get back on the sand.
Last Sunday, scores of girls joined her in Cardiff Bay for our very first Beatball Beach Barbecue.
Once the football fun had finished the participants headed straight to the Cardiff Bay Beach barbecue for some delicious free food.
If that doesn’t sound awesome enough to you, here are five more great reasons to get down there. See you on Sunday!
The weather forecast is scorchio!
When the sun comes out, where else should you head but the beach.
The atmosphere will be great, the tunes will be rocking and the beatball will be unbeatable.
You can make new friends
Last Sunday, girls from all around South Wales joined us and they all had something in common.
They loved the football and they loved the music. It’s nearly time to do it all again.
You can learn new skills
Yes, everybody can kick a ball but there are so many other skills and tricks you can pick up in a 10-minute beatball session.
Just give it a try.
You can get moving
Whether you love dancing or football more, it’s all good because the fun never stops and you’ll certainly build-up an appetite for that free barbecue at the end.
You might meet somebody cool
Last week the Cardiff Met Ladies team took time out of their Women’s Champions League preparations to meet the girls and show them some new skills.
Your favourite breakfast radio presenter will be there and you never know who might join her this week.
Where and When
Head to Cardiff Bay Beach, in Roald Dahl Plas between 2pm and 4pm.
