FAW Introduction to Football Certificate

The Football Association of Wales Introduction to Football Coaching Certificate is your first step to becoming a coach.

It will provide you with extensive knowledge about the structure of coaching, encourage good communication skills and introduce you to working with, leading and motivating your young players.

Completing the certificate is not just about learning technical skill and techniques, it’s about gaining an insight into the values, culture and vision that create our Welsh Way of football.

You will learn to support your young players from first kick to competitive games, helping others to enjoy and fall in love with the game, through embedding our values of Respect, Family and Excellence.
